Congrats to Villeokus Hells Belle, Damo’s daughter, for her First & JCAC over 22 entered in Junior Bitch Class when 9 months old. At the same show, in 2019, Damo was Puppy BIS over 26.

Da almeno vent’anni ho appeso nel mio studio il quadro qui riprodotto che acquistai in un mercatino. E’ un estratto dalla rivista femminile “Mani di fata” del 1° Febbraio 1929. E’ così descritto: “FIG.2349 Disegno al naturale per cuscino o pannello decorativo, a pirografia, “I Bracchi”. Disegnato su fustagno morbidissimo speciale, 50 x 70. L 16.”
Chissà se il Prof. Giuseppe Solaro si è ispirato a questo per il suo disegno sugli assi cranio facciali datato 1934?

Oggi, tre settimane prima del suo diciassettesimo compleanno, è morto il Campione Italo della Caveja, Giovane dell’Anno fra tutte le razze 2004. Lo ricordo con affetto e rimpianto e ringrazio Pierpaolo Pica -Ophis IGs- per essersene occupato con tanta dedizione ed amore. Nelle foto, a due mesi e con il bisnonno Camp. Billo della Caveja. /Today, three weeks before his 17th birthday, Ch. Italo della Caveja, Top Junior all breeds 2004, died. I remember him with affection and regret and I thank Pierpaolo Pica -Ophis IGs- for taking care of him with such attention and love. On pictures, at two months of age and with his great-grandsire Ch. Billo della Caveja.

Per non essere da meno, anche Tina, la chihuahua, ha avuto la sua cucciolata di cinque: 4 maschi ed una femmina. Bianco, tricolore e nero focato i colori. Il padre è Jacob PC.
Not to be outdone, Tina the chihuahua, too, had five puppies: 4 + 1. White, tricolor and black/tan. Sire is Jacob PC.

Il 23/05/2017 è nata la seconda cucciolata di Ginetta. Il padre è Paciocco di Villa dei Gruccioni. Sono tre maschi e quattro femmine. Sono fotografati appena nati e ad una settimana di età.
On May 23rd, 2017 Ginetta had her second litter. Sire is Paciocco di Villa dei Gruccioni. Three dogs and four bitches. They are pictured when newly born and at one week old.

Con grande piacere e onore ho giudicato i Greyhound a Crufts 2017. BOB è risultata Sobers Achillea Karkati, bellissima giovane femmina con grande movimento. BOS il Ch Azram Secret Mission dalla Classe Veterani, un maschio che conferma il detto: “il buon Greyhound è come il buon vino: migliora con l’età!”. Aveva già fatto con me il CC alla Club Show 2012 (vedi le News del 16/06/2012) e l’ho ritrovato in grandi condizioni. Best Puppy Jet’s Intermezzo By Night With Ransley, ancora da coordinarsi, ma molto promettente. Ringrazio tutti!
With great pleasure and honor I judged Greyhounds at Crufts 2017. BOB went to Sobers Achillea Karkati, a beautiful young bitch with great movement. BOS Ch Azram Secret Mission from Veteran Class, a dog who confirms the saying: “a good Greyhound is like a good wine: it improves with age!”. He had already won the ticket under me at the 2012 Club Show (see the News on June 16th, 2012) and I found him in great conditions. Best Puppy was Jet’s Intermezzo By Night With Ransley, still gangly, but very promising. Thanks to all of you!

Ho avuto il grande onore di giudicare per la terza volta il BIS a “Skokloster”, il grande e celeberrimo raduno levrieri del Club Svedese, che quest’anno si è tenuto a Stromsholm, bellissimo castello reale.

SANSONE E’ CAMPIONE EUROPEO FCI DI COURSING PER IL TERZO ANNO CONSECUTIVO !!!
FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW SANSONE IS EUROPEAN FCI COURSING CHAMPION !!!
A Oirschot nei Paesi Bassi Sansone della Caveja si è imposto per il terzo anno consecutivo al Campionato Europeo di Coursing, stabilendo così un record per i Greyhound e probabilmente per tutte le razze.
Per non essere da meno, sua sorella Shakyra della Caveja, già Campionessa Europea 2009, si è piazzata seconda fra le femmine TRE MESI DOPO AVER AVUTO UNA CUCCIOLATA DI UNDICI PICCOLI! Ha anche vinto il CACIL perché la femmina al primo posto non aveva la qualifica minima richiesta in esposizione.
In Oirschot in the Netherlands Sansone della Caveja for the third year in a row won the European Coursing Championship, setting up a record for Greyhounds and probably for any breed. His sister Shakyra della Caveja, European Coursing Champion in 2009, also did very well finishing second among the bitches THREE MONTHS LATER HER LITTER OF ELEVEN PUPPIES! She also got the CACIL as the winner had not the required show grade.
